Editing a reason

Use the Reason page in the Platform Configuration at Configuration > Reason to configure various settings related to your SynapseMX account.

To edit an existing Reason, click the Reason title or the Edit button on the reason card you want to change.

That will take you to a screen where you can edit the details for your Reason.

The Details tab

• Skill: The name of the Reason (required)
• Description: Additional details you want to provide which help explain the Reason (optional)

The Settings tab

• Temporarily disable: If you disable the Reason, it prevents users from being able to select the Reason from any of the dropdown menus elsewhere in the app. It will still show up in the Reason list when the filter is set to show inactive Reason.
• Permanently remove: If you want to remove the Reason completely. See Removing a Reason for more details.

Click Save when finished.

You will be returned to the Reason listing, where your updated Reason will be ready for use. NOTE: You may need to adjust your filters to see the change(s).
