Adding a new aircraft type

Use the Aircraft Types page in the Platform Configuration at Configuration > Aircraft Types to configure various settings related to your SynapseMX account.

To add a new Aircraft Type, click the green New button above your list of existing Aircraft Types.

That will take you to a screen where you can enter the details for your new Aircraft Type.

The Details tab

• Manufacturer: The name of the aircraft manufacturer (required)
• Type: Details that explain the model and series for this aircraft type (required)

The Image Tab

If desired, you can upload an image of the Aircraft Type that will be used when individual Aircraft tail number images are not available.

Click the gray Add button to add an image.

Select your image and the preview any alterations like cropping or rotating (optional)

Click the blue Upload button when ready.

Your image will be uploaded and the page will refresh to show the results. If you want to Replace or Remove the image, those actions are available from the new buttons over the image.

Click Save when finished.

You will be returned to the Aircraft Types listing, where your new Aircraft Type will be ready for use.
