Editing a skill

Use the Skills page in the Platform Configuration at Configuration > Skills to configure various settings related to your SynapseMX account.

To edit an existing Skill, click the Skill's title or the Edit button on the skill card you want to change.

That will take you to a screen where you can edit the details for your new skill.

The Details tab

• Skill: The name of the Skill (required)
• Description: Additional details you want to provide which help explain the Skill (optional)

The Settings tab

• Temporarily disable: If you disable the Skill, it prevents users from being able to select the Skill from any of the dropdown menus elsewhere in the app. It will still show up in the Skills list when the filter is set to show inactive Skills.
• Permanently remove: If you want to remove the Skill completely. See Removing a Skill for more details.

Click Save when finished.

You will be returned to the Skills listing, where your updated Skill will be ready for use. NOTE: You may need to adjust your filters to see the change(s).
